Tabor Hawthorne
Welcome

The Mt. Tabor Theater in SE Portland is one of the oldest and largest concert venues in Portland. Built in 1913, the venue was originally a burlesque and vaudeville playhouse. The century of operation has seen many different uses of the space from single show movie theater to adult-film theater to cineplex in the 1970s and different concert venues throughout the 1990s.
The new Mt. Tabor Theater embraces the history of the room having retained much of the existing hardwood floors in the concert hall, the movie theater styled lobby and the infamous black-light hallway to the Sideshow Lounge painted by Portland legend, Extremo the Clown.
With a capacity of 525 and all ages and 21+ options, we can host a variety of concerts, movies, parties and other gatherings.
